Private by design
Most “merge PDF online” sites upload your documents to their servers. Ours doesn’t — merging runs inside your browser, so agreements, statements and scans never leave your machine, enforced by a Content-Security-Policy that blocks the page from talking to any third-party server. Is this PDF merger really free?
Yes — completely free, with no sign-up, no watermarks and no limits on the number of files or pages. Merging happens on your own device, so there is no catch.
Are my PDF files uploaded anywhere?
No. The merger runs entirely in your browser — your files are combined in your browser's memory and never transmitted. A Content-Security-Policy makes the browser block requests to other origins, so this is enforced technically.
Can I change the page order before merging?
Yes. After adding your files, every page appears in a sortable list — drag pages (or use the arrow buttons) to reorder them freely, even interleaving pages from different files. You can also rotate or delete pages before merging.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
There is no fixed limit — add as many files as you like. The practical limit is your device's memory; a few hundred megabytes in total works comfortably on most laptops and phones.
Will merging change the quality of my PDFs?
No. Pages are copied into the merged document as-is — text, images and vector content are untouched. If the result is too large, run it through our free PDF Compressor afterwards.
Can I also annotate the merged PDF?
Yes — this tool is a full PDF editor. Before downloading, you can add text, highlights, shapes, drawings and images to any page.
