Private by design
Most online PDF splitters upload your document to their servers. Ours doesn’t — splitting runs inside your browser, so bank statements, contracts and ID scans never leave your machine, enforced by a Content-Security-Policy that blocks the page from talking to any third-party server. Is this PDF splitter really free?
Yes — completely free, with no sign-up, no watermarks and no page limits. Splitting happens on your own device, so there is no catch.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. Splitting runs entirely in your browser — the file is read and split in your browser's memory and never transmitted. A Content-Security-Policy makes the browser block requests to other origins, so this is enforced technically.
What ways can I split a PDF?
Three ways: extract pages you tick in the page list into one new PDF; split by ranges like 1-3, 5, 8-10 to get one PDF per range; or save every page as its own PDF, delivered as a single ZIP download.
Can I rotate or edit pages before splitting?
Yes — this tool is a full PDF editor. Rotate sideways scans, delete pages, or add text and highlights first; your changes are included in the split files.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied into the new files exactly as they are — text stays sharp and images are untouched.
Is there a file size limit?
No hard limit from us — the practical limit is your device's memory. PDFs of a few hundred megabytes work comfortably on most laptops and phones.
